ED Orientation
Welcome to St. Vincent’s Hospital Emergency Department. Whether you are new to the department or returning from external rotations, we would like to offer a warm welcome to the ED on behalf of all of staff. We hope that you are looking forward to the term, and the many opportunities for learning and development in the field of Emergency Medicine that our department offers.
We are keen to assist with your integration into the emergency team. To that end we hope that you find the information and resources below helpful in orientating you to the organisation, structure and processes within the department, and to your roles and responsibilities - please have a click through. We strongly encourage you to engage with all training, education and mentoring elements, to get the most of your time with us. We look forward to working alongside you, and hope that you have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience over the coming term.
If you have any suggestions to improve our orientation resources, please get in touch (Dr Phil Ward)
